I hold a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Winnipeg and I am a member of the Canadian Association for Marriage & Family Therapy. Prior to beginning my training and work as a therapist, I worked for many years within a feminist, non-profit community health clinic
which expanded my understanding of the systems we live within and the struggles many in our city face. I am also grateful to have had decades of a fulfilling career as a dance artist, choreographer and collaborator which informs my work with clients on a creative, somatic and improvisational level. My varied life experience brings a maturity and diversity of perspective to my work as a therapist.
The relationships in my life are my driving force. I am a mother of two, a partner in my marriage, and a person who cherishes family and friendships deeply, which of course, doesn’t mean it’s always easy. I am an adventurous soul, an open-minded thinker, a lover of lakes and forests, and a person who loves to talk deeply and laugh often. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have that would help you figure out if we are a good fit for your therapy needs.
