I hold dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Peace and Conflict Studies, and I’m registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). My approach acknowledges how gender, race, and cultural identity shape our emotional world, and I believe deeply in the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship—one that helps transform pain into resilience, growth, and meaningful connection.
As an immigrant Latin American woman, I personally understand the grief, transformation, and strength it takes to rebuild life in a new place. I also recognize how social dynamics and systems of power can shape a person’s journey—affecting their sense of safety, identity, and belonging. These lived experiences guide the way I show up in therapy: with respect, presence, and a commitment to creating a space that honors your story.
I am wholeheartedly drawn to supporting people in building safe, equal, and joyful relationships—both in their private lives and in the public sphere.
In my personal life, I’m in an ongoing process of reconnection with the principles and rhythms of Mother Nature, and with myself. I’m committed to my own therapeutic work and to meeting life’s challenges with humility, responsibility, compassion, and curiosity, especially in moments when hope feels distant. I find meaning in slowing down, in observing the seasons, and in listening to the wisdom that emerges from stillness. I also enjoy reading novels, hiking, dancing, and traveling, and I’m drawn to ancient traditions like tarot and astrology that invite reflection and connection.
