Therapy can be an important tool to help people to connect not only to each other, but also to themselves. We as human beings desire to be deeply known by our friends, partners, family and the communities we belong to, but we also long to know ourselves and live not only to survive, but to thrive in our own skin.

As a relational therapist, I help my clients explore how we belong in the context of where we came from, where we are and where we seek to go. My approach is informed by a combination of our physiological experience of the world, a connection to our feelings and parts of ourselves, as well as connection to our own unique origin stories.

Therapy is an opportunity for support, validation, exploration and learning about oneself, as well as one's relationships with others. As part of the therapy process, we will discuss your goals and hopes for therapy, and we will continue to check in to make sure we're on the right track.

About Me

I've been a private practice therapist since 2020, after completing my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with the University of Winnipeg, and I am currently registered with the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I've been working in the field of mental health and disability since 2007 in a variety of capacities that include case management, coordination and consultation. I feel privileged to join my clients on an exploration of their lives. When I am not exploring with clients, I am exploring the outdoors. I love to hike, camp, climb, snowboard and discover new trails and provincial parks. I've spent quite a bit of time in the Manitoba wilderness over the past few summers, however I've also enjoyed travelling to BC, Alberta and Ontario.  I feel grateful to explore life with my husband and two dogs.
