Welcome!  My name is Michelle, and I am deeply committed to my work as a therapist. I am passionate about facilitating meaningful connections that empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and cultivate a sense of belonging in their communities. I believe in the transformative power of human connection and the fundamental need for belonging.

Life inevitably presents us with challenges, and whether you are carrying wounds from the past or facing current difficulties, you don’t have to navigate them alone. Some of us become stuck in unhealthy patterns that keep us from living the life we deserve.  I am here to support and guide you on your path toward healing and growth. I offer a safe, compassionate, and judgment free space where you can explore your experiences and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of guiding clients through various life transitions, mental health struggles, and personal growth journeys.  I have worked with diverse populations, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges and foster resilience. Such challenges include family of origin issues, shame, trauma, abuse, addictions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress, grief, eating disorders, disabilities, life transitions, sexuality, divorce and many other relationship complexities.

I am a trauma-informed therapist and use different modalities in my practice that include but are not limited to Narrative, Attachment, Solution-Focused, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My credentials include a clinical Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT), a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and a Certification in Applied Counselling. I have 20 years experience in the social services field working with families. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT) and hold CCC qualification (CCC-Q) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCC).

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my Cockapoo!  I strongly believe in self -care and you will often find me practicing in the hot yoga studio. I love travelling and am always searching for new adventures and culinary experiences.
