Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply need someone to talk to, our online therapy services provide a flexible and confidential space to work through challenges at your own pace.
Many of our clients opt for virtual therapy for various reasons, including:
Ease of fitting in a therapy session when life gets busy
Limited or no access to transportation
Living in rural Manitoba with a long commute
Couples or parents with limited or no access to child care
Living with a health condition that impacts your ability to access in-person therapy
Issues with mobility that make it difficult to attend an in-office appointment
We offer a range of therapy services online, across Manitoba, including:
Our therapists are here to support you in healing and coping with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress management, and grief and loss. We can help with goal setting, processing emotions, and developing coping mechanisms to build more resilience.
Our relationship therapists work with couples who are dating, living together, married, or in non-traditional relationships. Common issues couples face include communication, emotional and physical intimacy, managing conflict, and trust.
Our family counsellors work with a range of family structures to help with navigating conflict and boundaries, parenting and co-parenting, and transitions in the life cycle and family structure. Our therapists are equipped to help with communication and resolving differences.
Several of our therapists specialize in providing EMDR therapy for treatment and recovery from childhood trauma or recent trauma/difficult events, PTSD symptoms, and other mental health issues, including anxiety and depression.
The teen years bring particular challenges, often related to self-esteem and identity, higher risk behaviours, and intense emotions. Our therapists are here to provide counselling for both adolescents and their parents.

Yes, if you have coverage for therapy under your insurance plan, your online sessions will be covered. After payment has been made, you will receive a paid invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
For individual Winnipeg therapy sessions, you can join using your phone, iPad, or computer. If you are doing EMDR virtually, you will need something with a screen larger than a phone screen, like a laptop or a computer. Unfortunately, phone screens are too small for EMDR therapy! Couples and family therapy sessions are also best done over a laptop or computer rather than from a phone. Online couples therapy works best if both partners can be seated side by side on a couch, so your therapist can see your dynamic and interactional process when working with you and your partner.
Online therapy from a location with a poor internet signal will result in choppy video and be disruptive to the therapy process. If a poor internet signal is an issue, having your therapist concurrently over the phone can prevent sessions from being disrupted when the signal is disrupted.
If you lose connection during a session, your therapist will attempt to contact you by phone or email, so please have your phone nearby. Additionally, your therapist will let you know the best way to reach them if the signal drops and you need to reach them.
